As Lucid Air Dream Edition finally began its first delivery more than a year after its unveiling, the first batch of products from the automaker demonstrated impressive manufacturing quality due to Lucid's attention to fine craftsmanship. The spacious and luxurious interior is also full of the Air Dream Edition's interior, giving the impression that the first car owner was very satisfied with what he got after a long wait.

Vivianna Van Deerlin is one of the first owners of Lucid Air Dream Edition, and she participated in the unveiling ceremony in California on October 30, 2021. Although Van Dillin attended the ceremony on the West Coast, which included breakfast, numerous speeches by Lucid executives, and a trunk full of Lucid-inspired goodies, she was a resident of New Jersey and was in the first few hours. 3,000 miles on the car was not what she planned. The car was then transported to New Jersey, where she planned to pick up the goods soon.

However, a video taken by Van Deerlin at the Lucid Delivery Event in California shows the impressive build quality of Airports in its early versions, which may be the reason why the car won MotorTrend's "Car of the Year" award. Lucid has specified that the first few units of Air will be manufactured by hand. In March of this year, Lucid detailed the tedious but necessary process of eliminating automation and introducing humans to make cars. It eliminates the uncertainty of mass production. Van Dillin may be one of the most qualified people on earth to make the first impression of electric cars.
